Robin Simon LLP is a specialist insurance law firm, with a national presence in the UK and an international reach.

The firm has 16 Partners and is led by Michael Robin and David Simon who are the Senior and Managing Partners respectively, posts they have held since the firm was founded in 2003.

The Need

To Support, maintain all four office locations for computer desktop, server, email, home office and off site data centre hosting solutions. With over 100 staff between the four sites, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and London, the need to support up to 12 servers and over 100 computer desktops was an achievement for 3SIXTY's infrastructure team.

All technical services and advice was delivered via our infrastructure team, delivered to all four RSL office locations.

A pro active approach with a rapid response to fix was key for RSL in order to maintain their excellent high standards to their client base.

The Solution

3SIXTY took over an existing contract and won the bid to successfully deliver desktop and server support on a national basis for the firm of over 100+ staff.

With dedicated resource in Leeds and London with Birmingham / Manchester handled via remote support Robin Simon benefits first hand to a rapid response and a pro active service.

Utilising most of our infrastructure team skill set, support covers desktop, server, data centre, backup, disaster recovery, VOIP phones, blackberry, virtualisation of server hardware and corporate email.

During 2007, 3SIXTY defined and deployed a standard desktop roll out of Microsoft Windows / Microsoft office versions with automatic patch management across all desktops and server environments.
