Microsoft@ Dynamics CRM Mobile Client

Included as a standard additional client with Microsoft CRM

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile is a mobile client for Microsoft CRM. Microsoft CRM Mobile provides salespeople with up-to-date information about their accounts and contacts, and helps them manage sales opportunities and track sales-related activities.

Usage

Typically, mobile device users will use Microsoft CRM Mobile both at the office and while they are travelling, for example:

  • At the office, with the mobile device cradled, a salesperson prepares for a day or week of meetings with customers by subscribing to information that is pertinent to upcoming meetings.
  • Before leaving the office, a salesperson synchronises the mobile device with Microsoft CRM.
  • While travelling, a salesperson updates information related to customers and opportunities, and notes required follow-up activities.
  • While travelling with a Pocket PC Phone Edition device, a salesperson calls a contact by tapping and holding a phone number.
  • Back at the office, or anywhere a salesperson has access to a computer with virtual private network (VPN) access to the corporate network and a Microsoft ActiveSync connection with the device, the salesperson synchronises the mobile device with Microsoft CRM, and uses Microsoft CRM on the desktop or laptop to complete any follow-up.
