Hammonds LLP is a leading commercial law firm with offices throughout the UK, Europe and in Asia, employing over 1300 people, working out of 15 offices in 7 countries. The Need

Contact management and CRM throughout the firm during 1999-2004 was handled primarily by disparate applications across many departments. In some cases, spreadsheets, Microsoft Access data bases or even Microsoft Outlook were used to track contact and CRM related information.

As the information was disparate and not shared, there was a fear of duplication of information, not to mention effort in keeping this key information up to date.

It was identified that a central, easy to use, easy to access contact management, mailings and events system was required to cater for the firms needs on a global basis.

Pioneered by Richard Burns of Hammonds and the corporate department, 3SIXTY was selected and won the tender to deliver the firms contact management needs that had the capability to integrate with the Elite Financial Billing systems as well as serve the firm globally.

The Solution

Using a solution designed for use in Internet Explorer, 3SIXTY provided a contact management solution that would sit seamlessly within their intranet which was a high speed solution using the latest web technologies.

3SIXTY worked closely with the business department teams to define a bespoke contact, events and mailings application that was specific to the needs of the business. Over a 36 month period, 3SIXTY delivered all of the above applications on time, first time and to budget.

Handling the firms contacts data base of some 60,000 + with a breeze. It was soon apparent that the time, cost and information sharing capabilities were soon paying dividends.
